It's Winter I don't care I want Summer!!!!!

I spent a lot of time on these. First off, each skin is priced at 125L and the big pack of 19 is priced at 500L. The demo is free and each suit comes in different layers for flexibility if needed.
I spent a lot of time on these. I needed to learn how to bake better in Maya. Now they look good for that. I added some shading underneath the suit so it stands out a bit more on the top of the skin and the wrinkles are just right.
Overall I'm happy with those and I think that is why I made 19 suits. I could make more but I think enough is enough. I'm tired! Maybe I'll make a different type of suit/bikini next with the same patterns. Those wouldn't take as long then. Enjoy!!!!

Ok, this is really neat!!!!!!

After a couple of experiments it is finally done and I'm very happy with this outfit. To make this skirt work took a lot of testing out to make sure that all parts of the skirt moved in synch.

This outfit comes in 13 color choices and a bundled pack. Each color is 300L and comes with two different sizes, small and large. The bundled (mega pack) can be bought for 1000L and includes all 13 color choices. All clothing in the photo is included in the outfit.

Maintenance, argh!

So there's SL downtime today. I was starting to get really excited about this outfit until they shut SL down. This color set is complete, but I plan on making more. The red and white is for Christmas and the other colors I'll be making will be for all year.
This skirt is something really neat. I didn't think this was possible ever. I made it so the marabou trim moves with the skirt. I also cut down on the prims. My first try for the skirt ended up being somewhere around 180 or 190 prims. Now the skirt is down to 121. Which is much better. So hopefully by tomorrow morning SL time, I can get some of these up. For now, SL downtime and rest for me.

Belle Sleeved Santa Set

For the Holidays. This set includes the Hat, all 42 colors of Shelly 2 hair, and the shirt, shorts, and skirts. There are two skirts in this pack. One is made of prims and the other of the SL mesh for higher lag areas. Both skirts come with the trim and without. The belle sleeves are sculpted along with the hat. I put a lot of work into it and there are plenty of options for the skirts.
I tried something new with the prim skirt when adding the trim to it. They move along with the skirt except its not quite to perfection. Not sure if its entirely 100 percent possible but it was pretty close except during faster movement. Either way, for 500L it is worth it. The mega pack of Shelly 2 all 42 colors alone is 700L. So the outfit is free or vise versa. Enjoy.

Last one for the month

The last style of the month. Had issues with this style that I dealt with over the weekend before I was going to release it. Finally up to my standards. Hopefully those standards are ok. This style has so much hair in it. It is 105 prims which isn't awful but isn't light at all. Tried completely different type of texture and it has its good effects I think.
I'm really tired out from making hair for a while. I'm also running out of room which I can't believe. No more room for hair at my store. Plus Christmas is coming up and I will be trying to make an outfit for Christmas. I haven't made clothing in almost a year now. I do have some ideas, sculpties will help out a lot too in what I will be making. Well for those who read this blog, if anyone does, thanks for looking.

Two new now I'm tired from hair creating

Two more for this weekend. I like Mischief the most out of both of these. Though they both turned out well. Sometimes what I like most doesn't sell the most so take a look at both. Once again put a lot of time into them. I usually take 6 hours for each style to make and box up. I tend to experiment a lot too with Maya and the sculpts and textures in Photoshop. None of the hair I've created lately has been rush at all. Well I'm babbling too much.

Working hard

New hair again this weekend. I get a lot of requests for more bangs all of the time so this time I worked hard on getting the bangs to look better. I used sculpties on the bangs and more new hair textures to get them to look better. To me this style looks great overall. I named it bubbly, not sure why. I was very tired by the time I put this up last night. Enjoy

New style named Ginny

After experimenting with Maya all last weekend, I needed to do what I do best and make some hair. This did turn out very well. I made a new hair texture once again. In fact, a lot of times each hair style gets a new hair texture. Which means I need to create 42 of each of them. It takes a while to do and thats why I don't put out more than 2 hair styles in a weekend.

New Updo Pony tail

On a roll this month so far. This style I made here has new textures for the flexy hair again. The textures really turned out nice this time and I twisted the prims to make it look even better this time. Check it out at the store!!! Thanks for looking.

Wow

Well I focused on only one hair style this weekend. It's like Illusions but but with less hair in the front and more sculptified prims that just work really well in my opinion. I really like this style.

Another new style

Wow two styles in one weekend. It sure helps when I don't need to work 6 days a week at my job for overtime. October is usually slower so I can work more on Second Life creations.
This style almost uses only 2d alpha prims and sculpties. I used a few tori for the bangs. The bangs are separate and can be attached or removed.
Packages are 200L and 699L for the mega pack.
What next??

Curls Oh My!! Illusions new hair

This style I made uses all sculpty or 2d alpa prims once again. I seem to like this one much more than Patience.
This one I priced at 200L per pack and 699 or 700L can't remember for the mega pack.
Going to try to make another hair style tonight. I don't now how some people put out so much hair at once. Illusions took me two nights to make, maybe 8 hours to put out. I guess I'm to much o a perfectionist and need to relax a bit.

New Long Hair

Wow, I made hair without any Torus. All sculpty and 2d alpha prims. I redid this one two times. I've been just getting to picky and I think after this one I need to simplify again.
This one is priced at 219L for the regular packs and 699L for the mega packs. 42 colors available as always. Demos always available. Available in 3 different sizes to just make things easier.
Now onto the next style. Not sure what.

Radiance is made from one prim base sculpty and flexy curls. This style comes in 42 colors total and is available in 3 different sizes for easier fittings.

Radiance hair packs are priced at 199L for about 6 to 8 colors or the Mega Pack at 629L which contains all 42 colors.

I make mistakes but.....

I figured out something really messed up last night. Someone bought a demo in front of me for hair and took it apart and had brand new hair. These demos are meant to be unmodifyable but for some reason the permissions were messed up. It is kind of my fault as I missed this. The demos were no mod in my inventory but once rezzed they had the modify permission. This made the hair basically free.
Now this must've been happening for a while. This person last night who bought this and did this in front of me knew this right away. They bought the demo, sat down, and pulled it apart. I IM'd them and politely asked them if she bought the hair because I wasn't sure if SL was slow with transactions cause sometimes its borked. No response until too late. She spoke french.
This must've been happening for a while cause she new she could do this. Someone told her.
I will make it very clear it is very difficult making sure everything is priced right, permissions are all set and I make mistakes. If people point out my mistakes, I thank them and even give them a nice freebie even though I don't need to. I work very hard at this and to those that understand this, I appreciate it. Another Shelly Style

This one is called Shelly 2 and is about 54 prims if I remember correctly. The hair is made from a sculpty base and 2d alpha prims that are used in the Escape style. It also comes with the 1-prim hat. Actually 3 of them, just slightly different colors.

17 prims total. New pigtails and a 1-prim hat

Finally got this style done. The hat took the longest to make using a 1-prim sculpty and figuring out how to texture it correctly. The hair also uses a base sculpty and is flexy in the back. I plan on making more hats as simply changing the logo or colors in pretty simple but for now its time for rest

New Hair Style with Sculpty

I'm not too good at these type of styles but I gave it a try. I used a sculpty prim for the base and 2D alpha prims for a touch of flexiness. Seems to work well. As usual, there are 42 colors available and 3 different sizes to work with for easier fitting.

Eternity New Hair

More hair finally done. It's been a while. This style uses the same type of prims found in Destiny, Escape and Memories. Not as curly as Escape though.
Comes in 42 colors and usual, 3 different sizes for easiest fitting.
I'm hoping to do some more hairstyles this weekend. Finally getting some creative juices going. Just need more time.

72 eyes to choose from

Just put out a few days ago. I made 12 different eye colors, each with 3 different pupil sizes. The more options the better ;-) Along with that, there are two different sized eyes. The SL standard eyes and the more realistic size which is smaller. The layout at the store has 3 different types of multi-packs. One packages contains 3 different pupil sizes but the same color for 89L. Another packages contains 12 colors of the same pupil size for 249L and then the mega pack which contains either all eyes of the standard size or the realistic size for 399L. I hope that makes sense. Enjoy.

Creator's block

I'm completely out of ideas for now, not sure why. At times, I can think of many things I want to make. This past week, its just not there. I think after this week things will start flowing again. If anyone has any ideas, throw them my way. It won't hurt, I might actually not mind at all. Maybe I should create a request box or something like that but I'm not sure how to do it. Maybe by next weekend, I'll create some new hair. Later.

Memories

This is a style I started in April that I gave up on for a while and started a couple new projects below. It's similar to Destiny while a bit straighter and a bit longer. Comes in 42 colors and the same packs and mega packs that the other hair comes in also. Now I'm not sure what to make next, its always so difficult to choose what route to go.

Small update with sculpty...Big change in looks

My favorite dress I made last June. When I made it last June, I really was stuck on the bow in the front and seemed kind of limited to the basic prims. During the weekend, after hours of messing around with sculpties and baking textures in Maya, finally came around to something much better. I included one of the old photos and its a huge difference even though its such a small part of the dress. Not really a new outfit, but I'm much happier with it. Thanks for looking.

Sophie

Finally after a month and many hours of hard work, the new Sophie skin is complete. I made many improvements over the "Aneta" skin. These are brand new complete skins. The shading is much more improved in areas that needed it while some areas that didn't really need it had it removed. One area I made better were the feet. Though rather difficult to work with, they are much better than the other feet on the older skins.
I also made better prim eye lashes that are included with these. I made them in three sizes, so hopefully that helps with the fitting of the lashes.
These skins also come with pubic hair on the skin with the optional brazilian wax underpants.
The eye brows, lip color and pubic hair are tintable in using the appearance sliders.
Hopefully I mentioned enough.
The Sophie skin will come in 5 tones at this time, maybe more in the future. Each skin tone will come with 16 different makeup choices and a choice of either 4 packs or the mega pack of 16 for a big discount (16 skins for 6000L).
Hopefully I included everything that needed to be mentioned. I'm really happy with these and spent many days going back and fixing things that I just wouldn't let go until I was happy with it. Thanks for looking and all skins come with their own demos and also once again choose wisely as some skins work well with different shapes. The lighting in SL is funny during the bright daytime so compare skins in the same lighting for best possible purchase.

New Skin from Scratch coming in June

I know it will be a while for anything new till June. I'm making a new skin from scratch which will see many improvements from the other skins. Of course this is my third skin from scratch so I've learned a few things since. I started the face and so far so good. I wish it didn't take so long. I've spent 6 1/2 hours so far. The base of the last skin I made took 90 hours. So that is why it will be released in June. I also was able to find a better sets of photos to go by with more angles which certainly has helped. Hopefully this one I'm happy with, I'm really picky and find myself always going back and fixing things. Not even sure what I'll name it. See ya in June ;-)

Freckles, finally. Finally SL working right

Ok here goes. I made two different types of freckles so everything purchased is a two for 1 deal basically. One set of freckles covers much of the body the other is focused on the cheeks, nose, and shoulders for the most part. There are 16 different make up choices grouped in 4's. Also comes with free Prim Eye lashes, and brazillian wax using the underpants layer.
These skins are changeable in lip color, eyebrow color and pubic hair colors using in-world sliders.

Though I think the bottom pale picture doesn't show the freckles very well. They are there though. I didn't want to overdo the freckles.

Destiny

I really like this one a lot!!! It moves just right. I tweaked the hair for a couple of days to get it right! It moves just like real hair like it should. I keep saying it each time I make a new style, I'll be wearing this one for a while. Comes in 42 colors and 3 sizes to make fitting easier. Enjoy.

2 New Hair

These two didn't make it to the hair fair :-(
I really like both of these. I used new textures again and the movement of the hair is really lifelike in a way. I'll be wearing Escape for a while until the next new hair ;-)

5 New Jolie Femme @ Hair Fair

These are probably my best 5 Ever!! Yet I would like to say I looked around the whole hair fair and there are so many awesome styles done by everyone you just gotta check everything out despite the lag.

Embrace - Made out of flexy curls/torus curl mix. Probably the most curly out of the bunch.

Timeless - The new trend. Started using the plant/tree method (single faced prims like for plants) but just on hair. This style is mostly straight and flows really nicely when moving around.

Forever/Dream - Made out of flexy curls/Torus Curls mix. Not quite and curly and Embrace.

Groove - This one is shorter and straighter than the rest. On this one 50 percent of all sales will be sent directly to the Locks of Love account.

All these will be located only at Hair Fair until the 14th I believe and after that the main store for Jolie Femme now at its new location.

I finally finished all 5 hair styles. I wish I could show them now but I need to wait until next week for the Hair Fair. I would say that these are my best 5 hair styles I've ever made. So as soon as Hair Fair 2007 opens up I will post them here.

Ok, I bought some more hopefully less laggy land in the new Class 5 sims. Since I don't build store well, it will take a night or two just to build it and put everything back up before closing the old store. At this time, all skins are 50% off until the end of the weekend or after the move is completed.
Also completed 3 hair styles which I love. We'll need to wait until the Hair Fair to show those though.

Hair Fair 2007 April

Well I won't be putting up anything new in the next week. I'm busy making hair for the hair fair and that hair won't be out until then. I did make one style tonight I'm quite happy about though. I look forward to the Hair Fair because its a good chance to meet a lot of the other designers. Well maybe. I'm usually on so late at night I don't see anyone. At least 2 more styles to go.
