Brad

I think this is the 4th style for men I've ever made. I thought I would try something new again. It is built with all sculpts, no flexy. It will also require a tattoo layer hair base, which I will put into all of the boxes with this hair.

The hair is 157 prims. That's quite a bit, but there are only 4 sculpts and 2 hair textures to load.

Each sculpted prim is split into 7 pieces (157x7). So it may actually look like there are over 1000 pieces of hair. While not perfect, it is certainly a step in the right direction for more realistic looking male hair at my store.

Last thing about this hair, please try the demo. This hair sits rather close to the sculpt and some shapes will not be able to fit in this style. :(

I'll probably price this at 220L and 800L for the mega pack. This will include the tattoo hair base. If your viewer doesn't support the tattoo layer yet, do yourself a favor and get one. :-)

Thanks for looking.

I may be hiding for a while working on Mesh Hair on the beta viewer. I can't wait.

Carrie

I've been working on this style since the middle of August and it just kept taking such a long time. I just wanted to do something really special before my wedding on the 18th and honeymoon the rest of the month.

So here it is named Carrie, since this is based on a hairstyle that Carrie Underwood has worn.

Carrie is perhaps styled with a little more sculpt than I have used in the past to hopefully create less flickering and not such a sudden contrast between moving hair and static hair. There is tons of layering in this style. Adding a hairbase will also nicely add to this style.

At 147 prims, priced at 245L for regular packs and 825L for mega packs. I really put my best effort into this one (likely over 30 hours total).

As always, please try out the demo. As much as I try, I can not always test every shape out there and there will be shapes that will not fit into this. The demo is free and doesn't bite. My worst IM is someone saying they bought hair and don't like it and then want to return it.

Thank you once again for looking.

PS - Bought the nice gone at Blaze and its called Sophisticate. Everything else including the shape by JF.

The cost of making hair.

The next hairstyle named Carrie (Carrie Underwood) I am making will require two new sets of textures to download at 50 colors each. This alone will cost 1000L in upload fees. Yikes!!! Now add on about 25 sculpts that is another 250L. Holy Cow!! Lastly, two uploads for the ad, 20L.

Why so many textures and new ones? Well I like to make new ones and keep things fresh. Or improve upon old textures. Things have certainly changed since the beginning of prim hair when one texture was good enough.

Tattoo Layer Hair Base V3

First of all and most important is that this can only be seen in viewer 2.0 or higher.

I will be putting all Jolie Femme Hair colors available as one purchase for 10L, the price of one upload.

This is version 3 already. I believe there will be a version 4 someday down the road as I try a few more times to make this look even better.

The colors won't always match perfectly. SL does wonderful things like lighting prims and avatar completely at different lighting levels. You will notice this more with the lighter colors.

For 10L, I think this is a good option to have in anyone's inventory with Jolie Femme Hair as the colors will match up well.

Also these will have modify permissions for any tinting that is wanted.

Thanks for looking!

Monique with 2.0 Hair Base

New with this hair style is Tattoo Layer Hair. SL 2.0 or great is required to use the tattoo layer hair base.

Scrunchies with this hair style is scripted with 36 colors/textures. They are difficult to trigger as the hair gets in the way. If the resize menu pops up, just close that and try again. I find that looking above the avatar works the best to hit that script on the scrunchy.

This hair is 140 prims. It was created with sculpted prims, flat textured prims and curly cylinder flex prims for the bangs. The hair base is meant to be a small add-on for an extra effect. It is not required to where with this hair.

Monique will be priced at 235L with the mega pack being 800L.

Thanks for looking.

Zoe

With great regret, I am withdrawing from Hair Fair 2010. With my own wedding next month coming up, I just do not have the time to deal with Hair Fair and real life.

Which means some hair styles I have been working on during the summer will be released early.

Zoe has a prim count of 148 and will be priced at 240L for regular packs and 825L for mega packs (50 colors).

Mel B "Scary Spice"

Made almost entirely up of flexy prims except for the base. Hair totals 114 prims.
This style is the 2nd in a series of Spice Girls hair. Unlike the previous hair, I made the outfit for this style and will be including it with the purchase of this style. This includes the skirt, top and necklace. So I'm going to charge an extra 10L for the hair for a total of 250L.
I also am including a base for the hair that uses the Linden Hair system. It does have some glitching with the regular hair if you are looking really hard. It is optional, so if this concerns you, use the "bald" Linden Hair.

Thanks for reading and enjoy.

Emma (Baby Spice)

New hair based on "Baby Spice" of the spice girls. Emma is the actual name of Baby Spice, so I chose that name for this new style.
Emma is at 128 prims. The hair includes a color change script for the scrunchies.
The skirt is available at "Blaze". I actually kind of love the skirt. I don't buy much elsewhere, but making clothing at Jolie Femme has been pretty much over with for 2 years now. Just not enough time for hair and clothing.
I will price this at 240L. This seems like a fair price. I put in a few weekends for this style. It will be up in the new hair section.
I am thinking of doing the rest of the spice girls in the future.

Marianne 2

It's been a while since the last hair style was released. I've been working on the Eiffel Tower which is built above my store. It's time to take a break from that and work on hair for the next several months.
I'm not sure how many people look forward to new hair styles from my store as its not as big of a name as some of the other well known hair stores like ETD or Analog dog. I will do my best to keep people interesting though.
This style is named Marianne 2. It is 121 prims. I really love the textures for the flexy hair parts. I did a good job making them look real. At the same time, they aren't photo sourced hair textures either. These are hand drawn in Photoshop. It gives a much better look and I can control the color much better.
Fairly priced at 240L for regular packs and 800L for Mega Packs (all 50 colors included).

Thanks for looking.
