New Hair Accessories

The hair clips and head bands are both 50L and up in the hair accessories wall at the main store.
Both items are modifiable and tintable, except for the crystals.
Knowing how to edit link prims is probably a good idea for changing the colors of the butterflies or in the headband.
I will offer to add these to Jolie Femme Hair styles for a small fee to compensate for the time involved in adding them.
Thanks for looking. I think I will start making some hair again in the upcoming week. The Hair Fair styles will be coming to the main store sometime next week after the fair wraps up.

Hair Fair 2009

Hair Fair 2009 - These styles will be available June 20 through July 4th at the Hair Fair. More info available here: Hair Fair 2009 blog.

Demos are available at Xstreet at this location: Jolie Femme@Xstreet. No need to wait for Hair Fair to start, these demos are available for purchase at the time of this writing. Just make sure to sort styles "new to old" to find the Hair Fair 2009 styles.

On to the Hair styles (All hair styles are made of sculpts, flexy hair, and available in 50 colors each. All the styles are come with sizing scripts and with modify permissions)

Penelope:

This style is 94 prims. The scrunchy is scripted with 36 colors/textures including 2 plaid sets. It will be tricky to trigger the script. I usually sit on a posing stand and touch the left scrunchie to get it to work. It may trigger the sizing script for the hair, so just close that and try again.

The hair is made out of flexy cylinder prims. The texture is twisted around to created realistic curls.

Linda:

This style is 99 prims. A simple straight and very long hair style. The hair should reach about waiste length.

Elizabeth:

**50 percent of sales at Hair Fair will go to the Locks of Love charity**

This style is 89 prims. Medium length hair that reaches the shoulders.

Brigitte:

This hair is 123 prims. A short style that comes just below the chin and covers the eyes and forehead.

Bella III:

This hair is 127 prims. This style uses a similar techique to Penelope for the curls. The curls in the will be about waiste lenght like the Linda style. Bella I and Bella II are also available as shorter versions of Bella III. Those two styles available at the main store.

Some suggestions:

I think it would be best to buy the demos first and try them out on a different sim. The Hair Fair is always extremely laggy and many times the sculpts on the demos may not rez. Buying the demos beforehand and even buying them on Xstreet first, is probably the best option for purchasing hair at the Hair Fair.

Also please be polite to the other shoppers at the Hair Fair. Reducing the number of attachments and scripts being worn by your avatar with be appreciated.

Thanks for looking and enjoy!

Hair Fair 2009

With the hair fair coming up, I will need to make some new hair styles for this event coming up in late June, early July. I don't think I'll be able to put out any new releases until then. I will be putting up my best effort just for this event, in the next two months on these 5 styles. I will be also putting up a freebie hair accessory at this event. I'm not sure what, yet. Hopefully this years event will be better managed. I wasn't that happy last year with the rather large prim limits. I thought some of it was rather unnecessary considering much of it never rezzed. Hopefully this year's event will a little less laggier.

Hair Fair 09 - Welcome!

Eric

This hair built with normal prims would be about 456 prims. That is not the case with this hair as it is built with oblong sculpts which I use to create hair 1/8th of that primitive amount by pinching or dividing each prim sculpt into 8 pieces. So that actual total is 57 prims.

After the intial load of the sculpts, the hair will be much more efficient than any 100+ prim hair that I often times end up at.

I will put this hair up with a new release price of 100L for this first week (Until Sunday, April 12). I like to do this so people looking for new releases can get them cheap. Once that is over with, the normal price will be 235L for regular packs and 800L for the mega pack.

Once again, all new releases come with the hair sizer script. This makes things so much easier to resize. I do suggest to choose the delete option when running this script once the hair his sized up well to be lag friendly to other people. Before doing this, make back ups of the hair with the script.

It's been over a month, I know. I spent about 2 weeks learning how to do this. Then issues with outside of SL with real life came about. So hopefully now that is over with I can continue to make more hair. My next plan is for some braids to be done as I find this process I learned how to do could be very useful in making those.

Thanks for looking.

Lestat 2

Based on the movie Interview with the Vampire. Released Lestat last week as a pony tail and this is my try at the same hair not tied up.
107 prims and the resize script as usual. I like this style more on the female model, but my intention was for it to be a Lestat style too. Clothing can be found here: GOTHIC VAMPIRE Clothing MEDIEVAL, Bonita (25, 37, 72)
I really like the dress. The hair really goes well with the dress.

Interview with the Vampire "Lestat"

It's been three weekends. It may not look like it to some, but I spent at least 25 hours on this style. So I really put some extra effort into it. That is one of the reasons why its been three weekends since the last style.
This style is based on the movie "Interview with the Vampire". So that is why I'm naming it "Lestat". I managed to build this with 40 prims total. The scrunchie includes the color script.
The demo includes the sizing and scrunchie script. I suggest sizing the demo first to make sure this hair will fit. Some head shapes may not fit as desired.
Depending on how I feel, I may make a Lestat II without the hair tied up.

Behind on hair

Trying to work on "Interview" but I'm having trouble. I don't know if I'll get done this weekend, but I will for sure next week or weekend. I've become too much of a perfectionist I guess. My next wigs I'm going to try to simplify a bit and have some more fun again.
